In order for Sumlin to get his boys into BCS consideration and for Keenum to keep his heisman stock up they will have to try and run it up against everyone they play... I hate college football for rewarding that kind of behavior.
If the Coogs dont get into a BCS bowl I wouldn't mind them playing Boise in a bowl game. Basically it would determine the best non BCS team in the nation! UH 44 UTEP 27
Best non-BCS team in that nation? That doesn't sound very interesting... It would be more fun to see them play a legit conference, thats what you guys are striving for. Even losing 1 and getting a team like Miami would be better IMO.
Well if we can get a matchup with a powerhouse that would be great I agree but realistically even if we are ranked do you think a major non-bcs bowl will pick us over classic powers? Unfortunatly bowls look at tradition and how a school travels so that means UofH pretty much has to go undefeated to force some bowls hand but even then it might be really hard with bowl affliations.
