Teams Texans are tied with: CLE 4-9 WAS 4-9 ARIZ 4-9 Teams Ahead: TAMB 3-10 OAK 2-11 DET 2-11 This might come down to the wire folks. Losing to Clevland is very important and the Texans can't overlook them. This season would be a wash with a win against Clevland. ARZ plays SF which I feel they can win, maybe even against DEN. TB plays @ CLE and has SEA @ Home so they migh pull an upset. WSH might have a shot at STL next week or we have to hope the NYG impolde during the final week. We have to lose out and hope that DET(@GB, CHI, @DAL) and OAK (STL, KC, @NYJ) win at least 2 and their strength of schedule is greater. But DET remaing schedule looks non winable. I still believe in maricles and have confidence that this team can pull it through. It's gonna be an exciting final three weeks folks but the Texans might have a shot at playing in their second #1 pick bowl. Twopeat baby!!! Twopeat!!!!
Even if they get the #1, or #2, or anything in the top ten, what would make you think they wouldn't screw it up? Bottom line, does it really matter where they pick? Honestly.
I am sick of losing. I hope they win out. DeMeco was taken in round 2, and he is arguably the best defender in the draft. Win today and worry about tommorow, next April.
DeMeco was take in the @nd round with the 1st pick. A pick they wouldn't have had if they weren't the worst team in football.
If they can't get BQ, hmm...then they should draft Adrian Peterson. Unles his injury was really serious. <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/_rJ1xDBT1jM"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/_rJ1xDBT1jM" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>

How many damn #1 picks do the Texans need to finally field a .500 team? The Texans are looking like the Clippers of the NFL (before the Clippers resurgence). Will the Texans have a winning season in their first 10 yrs of existence?!
With the 4th pick in the 2007 NFL Draft, the Houston Texans select: Greg Johnson P/PK, The University of Texas. McNair: He's a UT boy! The hero is coming home fans!
Early 2nd to mid 3rd. Combine will figure in a ton though, since most analysts haven't even seen him play yet because of poor media coverage of CUSA.
I would love to see the draft go down like this: 1st Round - Adrian Peterson 2nd Round - Best Defensive player available 3rd Round - Kolb 4th Round - Offensive Line 5th Round - Offensive Line 6th and 7th, find some diamond in the rough.
Kevin Kolb is nice and all but taking him after passing on VY would be like turning down you hot neighbor, finding out she just got signed by Elite Models, and then hooking up with her one-eyed cousin. It's just not the same.
I could live with that for sure. I plan on really researching this draft... I want to get some real info on these guys.. last year it was touch and go, with just a few big names floating.. this year even the heisman winner might not be a first day pick.. so its all up for grabs.
