So far, the offense isn't good. the FG% is 43.8% and 3-point is 27.2%. But we are 4-1. it is the defense that won those games. I can't image we will get worse FG% in the rest of the season. Looks like this season will be 55+ wins.
Anyone want to bet our offensive stats start to improve as we start playing some of the crappier teams? DD
Sounds like a positive comment to me. He is saying that we are up 4-1 despite poor offense. Since the offense will only get better we will win 55+ games. How is that a negative??
Yeah, I didn't quite read his post as a negative comment. People are just getting really ticked off with one whiny thread after another following an impressive victory against the defending champions. It's weird, check out Spurstalk.com. They're so calm and serene, it's almost infuriating. That's a championship caliber BBS - apparently ClutchFans isn't ... yet.
They also expect the Spurs to have a slow start... then turn it on at the end of the season. Our offense will be fine once everyone gets used to it, and one another for that matter. We have been preaching the first month won't look great, but think of it this way. If the defense holds up to how they are running it now (there is even some improvements that can be made on that.. but we are talking offense) and we start taking more high percentage shots and making less turnovers... this team is going to be REALLY good. And fun to watch to boot!
