Are you better on Offense or Defense in sports generally , just think about all the sports you have participated in your life .

In my case , i can clearly say im better on offense .

Football - Always play Dual Threat QB , Run , play WR,

Basketball - can shoot , pass , set people up .etc.....

Football - Can't cover that well despite my speed , can't see coverage that well playing as a safety.

Basketball - Not a good rebounder , or a defender in the paint. But pretty good being a perimeter defender tough.

I had an unassisted triple play in softball, and a six-sack game in full-rush flag football. (I know those are weak for bragging, but I take what I can get.)

I've only played basketball. High school varsity being the highest level. I sucked at defense until I started playing ball at the rec at TAMU. I think I got more competitive too for some reason. Anyways, I was basically Brad Miller in high school. Except even worse on defense. I once started at the 2 (I was a slow post player, put at 2 for 1 game for reasons since forgotten) and had 17pts at halftime. The coach said I was the player of the game afterwards in the locker room. It was a rare win. The dude I was guarding, fast little guy, he finished with nearly 40 I want to say... funny.

    Basketball (Offense) -
Offense - I can drive past my man and pull-up. That's actually my go-to move. I can also hit the three although I'm a very streaky shooter.
Defense - Well... My defense is a little better than Kevin Martin's...

    Football (Offense) -
Offense - I'm a decent running back. I can elude tacklers, just can't power through them.
Defense - My coverage sucks, and I can't tackle.

    So basically... offense.

Was a good slasher, decent finisher (not great), and decent jumper. I can create my own shots, so not much of a spot shooter. I had horrible handles though.
    (defense)
This is where I prided myself. I was pretty much a lock down defender. I looked for the strip when they try to face me up and take me with the dribble. I also was a fairly good rebounder. Often outerbounded people that are taller and can out jump me. I also boxed out pretty well despite people weighing much more than me. I'd use my legs and try to get below their center of gravity to move them.

    Football
    offense:
Played mostly wr. As a qb, I could lead receivers fairly well and fairly accurate. I also had a decent arm strength. I just threw wobbly passes.
    defense:
I had a thin frame, so I actually hurt myself more playing defense.

I'm generally not athletic or coordinated, but my lateral quickness is better than most.

    Guess what I'm better at.

I picked Defense. I think I just not creative enough to "create" on offense. I do play the game analytically, so I think I'm more suited on the defensive end in an anticipate/react situation.

    Straight offense.

I'm a great shooter off the dribble or spot up. I can't slash though.

By default, defense cuz it's easier to do than offense. My 3pt shot is deadly but I hate going to the basket, i alwasy end up in a brawl. I dont' believe in hard foul. i'm touche. :)

in basketball, my offense is erratic (i prefer to pass than shoot) but i used to get a lot of praise for my defense.

    definitely offense

5 years ago in hs i was 35 lbs heavier and just ran through people in football
now, in basketball, i am a much better scorer than defender...but i think i play help defense rather well, only problem is my lack of height/vertical. i can slide over perfectly, but they usually just shoot over me : (, can't really take a charge in pickup basketball

My offense is pretty good, but my defense is impregnable.

Defense. I always took pride in stopping opposing players in every sport I played and my fav.players were always defensive minded.

    B-ball- Scottie Pippen.
    American Football-Primetime
Soccer- Lots of Defensive midfielders and Center backs.

At any sport I've always loved playing defense. Especially softball.

When I was a teenager I was a shutdown defender in basketball with bad offense. Now I'm a balanced player with good to very good offense and solid defense (pickup basketball wise. But I do play with a few guys who played for schools or amateur leagues).

I'm a linebacker/D line football wise. Not as good on offense, but I can be a decent fullback. I also loved blowing people up on defense, gotta admit I kind of got a high from it

I'm only 5-11, but i have a 6-4 wingspan so that makes me a really good defender. I have a decent jumper but thats really the only thing i can do offensively.

offense is so-so at best. i've been known to throw the schit out of someone's shot pretty often (except during the bus stop stalker ymca league team when we were playing against giants every damn game... was brutal playing center).
