I like Scola, but if management wants to trade him, this thread won't do much :/

 

Ill bet threads related to Steve Francis, Gerald Green, and even Dikembe Mutombo lead to some of the moves in the past. Brought in Green as a smoke screen for the Wells trade. Brought in Francis to make y'all happy. Same for Mutombo who I don't feel Adelman or Alexander think is necessary.

Not sure why anyone would believe that rumor.

 

if he is part of the deal that can land us durant, he is as good as gone.

 

I Like scola, but I don't think he is starting material for a legit playoff team. He would be a great 6th man on a championship caliber team.

 

If the Rockets get Amare, Scola is gone.

I think Scola is underated, he is SOOO smart out there, and such a great player.

If we get a point guard, we can trade Scola.

Think about it as we half expected for Landry to bolt in free agency anyways. Which was the reason (kinda sorta maybe) for Dorsey being Landry insurance.

where did you hear anything about durant?? that would be incredible!

 

I personally wouldn't shed a tear if Scola was dealt for an upgrade. I love his hustle and heart, but he gives up as many points on defense as he scores on offense.
