Who do you guys think would fit the Rockets better???

In my humble opinion, I think Odom fits better because he is a pass first guy who plays better D. Rashard is a better scorer but thats not what we need. Odom dramatically improves ball movement and the D. While Rashard improves shooting. The draft pick would be very raw and probably wouldn't become better than either player anyway.

I personally would trade #5 + KT + Tierre Brown for Odom and the Clipps #10 pick. The Clippers desperatly need pg. help and would like a backup forward for Elton and Miles (KT can backup both the 3 and 4). They dont want Moochie because he has a HUGE contract for a backup pg and they need cap space to sign other players. Then I would send the 15th pick to Memphis in case we implode next year and get screwed out of our pick. With the 10 pick I would draft Amare Stoudimire( or another backup C, Ely or Marcus). Then, since we have 2 second rd picks, I try to package them to move up and take Juan Dixon( More Maryland Players, WHOOPIE) in the bottom 1st/early 2nd round.

    This gives us:

    Francis / Mooch
    Mobley / Dixon / Torres
    Odom / Rice / Morris
    Griffen / Mo T
    Cato / Stoudimire / Collier

Now, Rudy must convince Mo T to come off the bench for instant O. If he takes one for the team the Rox have the very potent bench of Mo T, Rice, and Moochie. Min. will be scarce but I see this happening:

    Francis - 38
    Mobley - 38
    Odom - 30
    Griffen - 30
    Cato- 20
    Mo T - 25
    Moochie - 20
    Rice - 15
    Stoudimier - 10
    Dixon - 10
Rest of team combined - 4

    total = 240
    5 x 48 = 240

Now, we resign Francis to a 7yr/70 million and when Rices contract ends we can resign Griffen that same year!! We would be set for the next 5 years at least. This would be a deep team that could contend for years to come.
