oh how I would love to see the Lakers implode, even at the cost of seeing the Mavericks get better...
This won't happen. Odom wants back in LA and who can blame him. He already been paid his one huge contract and just won a championship. The Lakers will offer to match whatever he gets elsewhere and Odom will take it. If he goes back to LA, he's the guy I can really see conflicting with Artest.
Artest and Odom know each other....from way back apparently. I think they'd be able to work things out. ******** In other news, I can't wait to see the look on Kobe's face when Ron does his "signature move" in the face of defensive pressure........a step back- fadaway three pointer.....off one leg
I can't post threads, but this pertains to the thread anyways Lakers pull offer to Lamar Odom http://www.latimes.com/sports/la-sp-lakers-lamar-odom15-2009jul15,0,5773043.story hopefully Mitch has something in store
I wonder if he will join the Mavs because of Ron. At the end of the day,I still expect him to be back in LA. Didn't see post # 7,this might work in Cuban's favor. By the way, won't Dallas have to agree to a S & T? Please correct me if I'm wrong,I don't think they have more than the MLE to offer right now.
Yep, just like I had said. Don't know what the Lakers are doing. I wouldn't mind it if we could sign Odom. Rebuilding mode would be over, just like that...
How will these moves help the Mavs?? They have too much talent they should get role players not Stars..JHoward Shawn Marion nd Odom on the same team? i dont think that would work
Whoa boy! Maybe this does happen if Portland doesn't offer Odom more money after the Jazz snag Milsap. The Lakers are in a unique position that any franchise would envy. They have an all-time great in Kobe, an all-word 2nd fiddle in Pau, a potential star center in Bynum and an ageing 10-time NBA champion coach. They should go-for-broke and pull out the stops for the next couple of seasons while the iron is hot. I wonder what offer they pulled. If it was the rumored 4yrs/$36MM, Odom is out of his mind for not taking it.
I think that's a fair deal for a player like Lamar with his versatility and hes still young I think he's only 28.
