I know it's only one game. I do. But how many people do we still have out there who think Bobby J isn't an upgrade over Mike James? That Les needs to sell the team just for making this trade? That there's no chance Bobby can be a big help to us THIS season?

Anybody who thinks Jackson isn't an upgrade over Wells is an idiot. That said, I don't see the poll...

it's too early to tell right now, but a solid backup PG that can hit the outside shot is an automatic upgrade over whatever bonzi could bring... especially in the playoffs.

    BJ all the way!

We don't need a poll for this, anyone who prefers Bonzi over BJ is crazy.

Obviously, if he plays like he played today it's a good trade. And it would be that much better if we can pick up yet another player who'll contribute in the playoffs.

I seem to remember a certain Rockets guard playing well right after after he got here.

Oh right, it was Mike James. :/

Whenever Jackson isn't forcing shots he is a very good player. Really seemed like he wasn't looking to do much outside of his game, and he was readily passing the ball. Looks good so far.

obviously people are gonna vote for jackson but if this poll was right after bonzi's 14 pt 15 reb night against the spurs there would be different results. ;)

And that's why I feel like his FG% will rise playing for us... he won't have to force as much. The guy is actually pretty decent at getting a shot for himself, and as good as the Hornets are, they don't have anyone who can create for themselves to the degree T-Mac & Yao can. Yeah Chris Paul is great, and he can create for himself, but he's better off creating for others.

I hate polls like this. I choose it is a wash because I think the rocks basically got back the value they sent out. The thing is we got value where we needed it the most and gave up value where we least needed it.

    Naturally.

That doesn't stop it from being amusing though, that a few days ago you'd think the apocalypse was coming with how much people were freaking out over this trade... one game later, everything's all good...
