3.5 pts 3.5 boards a game, David Andersen could be a "proven winner" too if signed by the Spurs.

Skilled big man...so who'd win in a skills competition between Leon Powe and Oberto

good for the Wiz..they needed SOMEone up front. Blatche is not big. They have Haywood, McGee, and nothing. (Jamison is semi-up front though he's perimeter-oriented)

Not really about the Oberto signing, but it's pretty depressing to think that the wizards will probably have a better season than my beloved rockets. :(

Oberto: "You ride Kobe's coattails like I ride Timmy's!"
Vujacic: "No, it's not true! I'm the Kobe of Slovenia!"

The Wizards are easily the 4th best team in the East if healthy. The main thing they need is frontcourt depth and they got some more now. Hell, with some luck they could push the Cavs.

The Wizards are gonna surprise a lotta people as long as Arenas plays

He would help the Wizard's front line but not to the extent that it would propel the team to elite status. A role player that would give them some help off the bench.

Isn't that the guy the Spurs kept over Scola?

Yup. Oberto and Bonner were kept instead of Scola.
But trading Scola was the only way to dump Butler´s contract at the moment.
    Big mistake by the Spurs.

Regarding Oberto, he is old and unathletic. High BB IQ though.

By the way, number 7 is taken, so he will wear no. 21 because it´s his birthday, and in honor to Tim Duncan.

No, you're thinking of Tim Duncan. :D
