Good. Obama's quickly moving to take control of the DNC and assert himself as the leader of the Dem Party.

See the video here. He definitely takes Joe to the woodshed.

I'm so blanking tired of the role Israel plays in domestic politics it's not even funny.

The Obama intimidation tactics continue. Pathetic that a sitting US Senator would act like that. Very un-Presidential, that's for sure.

Obama is used to the fawning media and can't take a punch. Get ready for a lot of punches.

Obama knows he has a Jewish problem. And it's only going to get worse. Much worse.

Why? Lieberman can't think for himself?

After Obama's "Muslim problem", "pastor problem", and now "Jewish problem", what can be next? A "Zoroastrian problem"?

The question becomes: silly election, or the silliest election?

I'm sure he's a better leader than Dean, but it would be wise for the Dems to try to find someone more centrist for their long-term survival.

Liberman can think for himself, and Obama should be entitled to talk to him about it.

Well, you'll have to wait until 2009, when he's President.

I'm jewish and I feel the same way.

Really? Hmm. I'm going to have to ask my entire jewish family and friends who all intend to vote for Obama about that.

I'm not questioning that. All of this is hypothetical because we don't know what he said to him; but assuming it was a sit down and shut up, why are you backing McCain deal, you would be fine with that?

I guess it's all assumptions. I was assuming he explained to Joe why he voted the way he did, and would appreciate it if Joe didn't misrepresent the vote.

If he told Joe he couldn't support McCain I would not be in favor of that.

He was probably letting him know under which circumstances he would be allowed to continue to caucus with the Democrats (and hold his committee positions) given that he has decided he's a Republican now. As the freshly minted leader of the party, that's his prerogative.

He was warning Fredo that after Nov. 4th, all family business will be settled.
