"And then the dinosaurs came, but they got too big and fat, so they all died and they turned into oil."
It's a quote from the movie Airplane. When they ask the guy to tell them the story about the incident with the plane "from the beginning," instead of talking about the plane, he starts in the prehistoric time period.
Stock Market under 7000, housing dropping at fastest pace ever, taxes being raised on all the people who actually work, Bailouts to lazyasses who don't pay there mortgage, no help to people who actually pay there bills. Hip Hip Horray all hail the savior! Barak the Destroyer
Why would we need help when we are still able to pay our bills? You want to increase the number of homeless people around the city. Want our crime rates to increase? I think it's great that I can still pay my bills and am being responsible with my money, so I don't need a bailout from no one. How about you stop crying because you can actually pay your bills and put food on the table and just thank God for that.
Hmm, just realized I was in the NBA Dish, sorry for the previous post. I know we like to keep the D&D in the D&D forum.
Damn, these Rookies are trying to airmail this thread to the D&D. I think it's cool that the President made it down the street for a basketball game for the first time in about 10 years.
Keep him away from any future Rockets game, please. That was the first thing I looked for on the remaining schedule.
In Before The Move To D&D? As long as he is not using taxpayers' money to go to the game, he can do whatever he likes. (Which I'm sure he didn't, or it would be all over the wingnuts' websites by now.) From BasketBawful, The Chicago Bulls: So President Barack Obama invites them to the White House and then actually shows up to their game against the Wizards to watch them play...and they get beaten by 23 by the worst team in the Eastern Conference. There's Fail and then there's Epic Fail. Guess which category this one falls into. Bonus stats: The Bulls shot 39 percent, bonked 13 free throws and gave up 19 offensive rebounds. Bonus quote: "I'm speechless right now. To come in here and lose to the Wizards by 23 points, it's inexcusable," said Ben Gordon, who had as many misses as points (11). "I don't know what to say. We didn't do anything well tonight." http://basketbawful.blogspot.com/2009/03/worst-of-weekend-starbury-is-celtic.html
What or where are those "there bills" that ye speak of? Almost 40 days/nights and the deluge of right wing whining has yet to subside. If only we could harness all that hot air, how much we could save on our electric bills. That would be one less "there bill" to worry about.
