Discuss: I only saw a small part, but I thought it was an interesting dynamic. I could not believe O'reilly said " Some people are saying...", the FAUX standard of journalistic investigation, ha.
Haha that and "critics say..." It is a way of attacking something and injecting one's opinion without actually doing it. I am 100% fine with O'Reilly saying it though, he isn't a journalist. It irks me when a "news" anchor drops it while reporting a story. I did not watch the debate though. It isn't ever a debate, more of an argument. O'Reilly interrupted Obama 30 something times last time they talked.
Here's the video - I haven't watched it yet so I can't comment. http://video.foxnews.com/v/31426123...interview-with-president-obama/#sp=show-clips
I thought he handled himself well. O'reilly has often says he likes Obama as a person, just not as a president.
When O'really was questioning on Beghaaaazi, it really seemed like the appropriate answer was "What difference does it make?". In an instance where US diplomats are dead, there is a revolution under way involving fluid allegiances and misdirection, whether the attack was terrorist, friendly fire or motivated by a movie or a movie planted as a conspiracy, it didn't really matter as a point of emphisis on that day.
O'reilly is not a birther and has even scoffed at birthers many times in the past. http://www.mediaite.com/tv/bill-oreilly-tackles-myths-about-obama-and-separates-fact-from-fiction/
So in 10.5 minutes Bill O spent about 7 minutes talking about stuff that has already been thoroughly debunked. He talked about the IRS and Benghazi for that time with some Obamacare thrown in. Why not take the opportunity to ask about the economy and issues that Americans really care about? He made it easy for Obama who just had to go through the motions and rehash crap that's been talked about a billion times before.
Meh... Obama and O'Reilly are friends. I wouldn't be surprised if they went for beers and bowling afterwards. There is a reason that he went on O'Reilly and not Rush or Colter.
OP misspelled it in the title of his thread. Anyway, the interview was pretty tame. I didn't learn anything new.
