Just got this today... should be a good one.

This Tuesday, Barack Obama will be in Houston for a Stand for Change Rally, where he'll talk about his vision for bringing about the kind of change we can believe in.

Come see why the Houston Chronicle endorsed Barack today, saying he "is best-qualified by life experience, skill and temperament to be the standard bearer for his party."

Stand for Change Rally with Barack Obama

    Toyota Center
    1510 Polk Street
    Houston, TX

    Tuesday, February 19, 2008
    Doors Open: 6:00 p.m.

Why are so many members of the military sending money to Obama?
    Fifth column?

The Military endorses Obama, they want to get out of the mess (Iraq).

I think bigtexxx is really hurting because the military is far more behind Obama than any candidate he supports, so he's trying to crusade against it.

Why won't he go to the energy debate? That's all I want.

He's already said that he doesn't expect oil industry folks to vote for him. Given his stance on NASA, this clown is really shaping up to be awful for Houston

When it was originally proposed, it was scheduled the day before (or after - not sure) the debate in Ohio that was already agreed upon. It would have been dumb to have debates on consecutive nights. Did they ever try moving it?

I like that this "clown" is honest and isn't pretending to be something he isn't. Too bad the disaster known as George W Bush didn't have that kind of honesty. And the way McCain is shaping up recently, doesn't look very good for him either on that front.

clown??? he has to be honest. remember what happened to mccain in 04 when he didnt make his stand on the confederate flag in S.Carolina? that and the fact that bush's ppl started the rumor about the illegitimate black child made him lose S. Carolina and the nominee......and not EVERYONE in Houston works in the oil industry.

........and you do know that barack hussein obama has nothing to do with sadaam hussein? they're not brothers. it's just a name, man.

Try keeping Houston economy up and running without them, or NASA, though.

    Who's a clown?

Hey, Clear Lake still has the Kemah Boardwalk. The resident engineers can work the ring toss game instead of building spaceships and moon bases.

Yeah. It's a huge part of our economy....But, the "clown" still has to come here.

we all know the dems wont win Texas or Harris County if you wanna look at just Houston, but he still has to win the nomination. I think he has it locked up though.

Don't forget about blocking out the sun, instituting mandatory vegetarianism, and succumbing to the great power that is the Canadian dollar.
