Way over. I'd guess between 25 and 35. They're not a good team without LeBron, but they still have Jamison, Hixson, and Big Z. That's enough to win a few games.
Really is that better than what the Nets had last year? I don't believe Jamison is better than Brook Lopez. Mo Williams is DEFINITELY worse than Devin Harris, and the rest of the role players are all negligible imo.
Well, according to some Kobe nuthuggers here, Lebron had the best supporting cast in the league (featuring like four former all-stars) on the Cavs, so they should be a lock for 50+ wins, no?
They're in a seemingly tougher conference now. Also they are now demoralized like a chicken without its head. Nevertheless, I think they'll at least make it to 20.
With Byron Scott, I do not think they will do that bad, but they will not make the playoffs, and attendance with greatly diminish.
LOL. For some strange reason I always find it comical thinking about the Browns and Cavs (pre-Lebron) dismal prospects for the upcoming season. I'm guessing the Cavs get mid 20's. Maybe Byron Scott can work magic like Fratello did with our lousy personnel late in the late 90's.
It takes a special degree of bad karma to get close to 10 wins. Very very few teams get close. Only 1 is under in the history of the league, I believe. So lets not overreact. Cavs still got some pieces. They won 60 games last year, without James, I think they can at least get 30 or so. They also have cap room. $9 mil now, $13 mil if they cut Delonte West (nonguaranteed). There are some guys out there to be had for that money.
