OTHELLA DEAL IN WORKS: The Raptors are holding up a deal that would send Morris Peterson and another player to the Knicks for Othella Harrington. Toronto needs an inside scoring presence, while Peterson could be used as either a shooting guard or small forward. Van Horn's injury underscores the Knicks' need to add a proven scorer.

Harrington has played well in his limited role, making 21-of-37shots and averaging 5.3points, three rebounds and 13.2 minutes before last night, when he scored only two points in 20 minutes playing time. However, the Raptors are reluctant to make the deal because Harrington has another year left on his contract.

So, is there a deal or not?

Peterson wasn't doing **** on that team. With Bosh coming out there like a superstar against Houston, there isn't any room for him on that team.

I know Denver has been mentioned in those talks as well. I heard one rumor where we would send Rodney White to NY and get Mo Peet and Doleac back. Obviously, there's more to it than that, but I didn't hear any other details.
