    That would be a no...

Before the season my prediction was

Dallas ( Wins it all )
    Phoenix
    San Antonio
    Detroit...

So far those 4 are still ahead of us. But speaking mainly in the western conf.. I like our chances
I say we have a 40% chance to beat dallas in the 2nd round and if San Antonio beats Phoenix in the 2nd also then I really like our chances in the WCF...

1st Round we beat Utah in 6 doesnt matter who has homecourt.

They got it 100% right. I'm shocked since it's a NY paper. Nice find.

Surprisingly, we have a much better chance getting past the second round playing Dallas as opposed to Phoenix.

I believe we only played Dallas at full strength, once (?), and the only time we did, we blew them out.

That was also the time when Dallas still wasn't Dallas.

Nice article. Pretty much everything I'd want the uninformed to be informed of at this point. Good journalism.

It's also an irrefutable fact that we match up so much better with Dallas than Phoenix.

But if somebody beats Dallas in the first round, then things really get interesting. Stranger things have happened in the NBA playoffs.

Only 2 times in NBA history that the No.8 beat No.1. So it deosn't happen very often.

But if Golden State gets the 8th seat, it could be interesting. GS has Mavs number.

Can't wait to see Nelly faces the Mavs. haha.

solid article, and i find it pretty spot on. we can definitely beat the jazz, and when healthy i think we can give the mavs a run for the money.... but with what's supposed to turn out as a very deep draft this year - regardless of where we finish - we definitely have an opportunity to pick up a pretty talented player.... maybe shore up the 4 or the 1.

the future is bright for these Rockets.... as long as the big 2 can stay healthy.

Struggled with his free throws  what is this guy talking about, and how was his return less than smooth after such a big injury to a big man like him

Lol, Nelly practically taught Avery how to coach a basketball team, so I won't be surprised if one day, before Game 1 of Mavs-Warriors game:

Nelly (thinks to himself): Hmmm, which playbook should I use, since AJ uses my plays anyway. The Humiliate AJ Playbook, or the Game-Winning Shot playbook?

The first time it happened, we won a championship and the last time it happened JVG coached the 8th spot.

golden state can absolutely upset Dallas, especially with a healthy and underrated Baron Davis. Thats a good group of players they have there, if they could only stay healthy!!
