The Knicks have 3 fully unguaranteed contracts:

    Harrellson + Jordan + Gadzuric = $5.8 mil

The Rockets could S&T Camby ($3 mil) and use the opportunity to dump either Brockman or Livingston but not both.

^We have a team option on Livingston and could just decline it.

Those players don't add up to $5.8 million. More like $2.88 million.

Still allows the Rockets to sign Camby for up to $4.4 million and trade him to New York.

See the other Camby S&T thread for my proposal from last night that has Camby getting up to $3.27 million and still being able to dump Brockman's $1 million guaranteed contract.

None of those players have guaranteed contracts. They would all be waived (or, if the cap math worked, held onto for a little while to include in future trades).

Any S&T of Camby to New York would purely be to get a future second rounder. The players are inconsequential.

Are we able to take a pick back?

A combo of Toney Douglas and a first or second would be pretty sweet, seeing as how we're not getting Camby back in the first place.

2nd rounder for Camby is very worth it. I would do it.

I liked what I saw from Josh Harrellson at the end of this past season. Not an awful F/C off the bench.

Not if the Heat are offering the Sixers first rounder.

I wish Camby was already under contract so we could trade him and have part of the deal be that the Knicks wouldn't match Lin's deal...

Maybe but ya don't ever know anymore.

Apparently there's no Rocket player that's deemed "untouchable"... not even Parsons.

And if they were to trade him and not get a decent SF back in trade, they'd really be screwed...
