Nuggets-Sixers Blockbuster Trade... ...I wish. God this offseason has gotten boring. It involves a well-known nut grabber though, which is funny. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3012940 I like the Hunter pick-up for Denver. He can come in for Camby without them losing a lot defensively in the middle. For a team that plays D like the Nuggets do, that a pretty good thing.
I dont see why the Sixers do this deal especially dont like to see another team we have to face, get help
Yeah I know, Its ok though. Even with the firepower and defense of Denver, I still like our chances to sweep them 4-0 this year, with the depth and the interior defense we have.
Steven Hunter is garbage. Not a very good move by the Sixers, either. They could have been well under the salary cap next year, and this takes away flexibility for a marginal big. They should have just bit the bullet and been bad for one more year or held a fire sale for Sam Dalembert. King is a moron of a GM. Evan Edit - Billy Knight, Billy King, both hapless GMs for hapless East teams....I'll never cease mixing them up.
You are right but his point is correct. Both guys are terrible GMs and I say that with very fond memories of Billy Knight's playing days.
uh the Nuggets are pretty good. What interior defense are you referring to? Yao? If he's anywhere away from the basket he's a liability. hayes/scola? Sorry dude you guys ain't sweeping the Nugs.. Melo is a BEAST!
I was thrilled we got Bobby Jones back. We never should have traded him in the first place. Then I discovered that it's not the same Bobby Jones. Oh well.
uh wait how much is Kenyon martin, Allen Iverson, Carmelo Anthony, and Marcus Camby making this year? anyone hear any updates about kmart??
i like this trade for both teams. it's minor, yes, but trading rotational players is noteworthy. i think the sixers get the better end of this because evans will be their starting PF. evans is a hell of a rebounder and paired with dalembert will make and imposing frontline in the east. they can't score but they sure as hell have a rebounding advantage over most eastern teams.
