[NSFW] Violent Three Vehicle Crash On Sam Houston Tollway

Damn that's awful. Can't even plan around someone plowing into the back of you at a toll booth, stop sign, red light.

it's 2017, why do they still sthave Toll booths?

 

They don't even need EZtags anymore. More and more cities are going to tagless systems that snap a pic of your license and send you a bill.

 

One of the few things Dallas does better than Houston.

 

Thing is, if it wasn't for the trailer hooked up to the truck in front of the Buick, then the passenger probably wouldn't have been killed. The trailer acted like a guillotine when the Buick hit it.

Yep. Trailer instead of a nice big bumpered car is what killed the person in the car.

Geez, that's so sad. And that poor lady in the toll booth looks like she barely escaped having her head/body scraped in two. I can't tell if she was already going back into the booth as the Durango slid by her or if she ducked inside in time because she saw it coming. City driving is getting to be crazy dangerous. Here in Dallas, there are idiots driving 75-85 mph in areas of the freeways designated as 55-60 mph while under construction. I see wrecks just about every day on the way to and back from work. Can't wait to leave.

 

Driver who caused it had a medical issue. I wonder if it was preexisting and was cautioned not to drive.

If you really want to get angry, read about the New Braunfels church bus crash outside of Concan. Long story short, dipsh!t 20 year old is texting, driving all over the 2 lane road, guy following him calls 911 & tells dispatcher "he's going to kill someone, or his own damn self", cops don't get there in time, 20 minutes later he hits bus head on, kills I think 15 of the 16 people on it. He survives, tells 911 caller, who stopped to help, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I was texting."

 

My blood is boiling.

People don't understand that driving a 2 ton vehicle is a murder weapon. Too many irresponsible drivers. Even my wife downplays the severity when I point out people's driving errors.

 

Hard one to dodge.

 

That's terrible. This is why I never stop for tolls.
