From NeoGAF: Haven't really had a chance to look at the numbers for very long, but obviously the GTA IV numbers stand out, and not just how much the game sold. Seemed like it would be a huge system seller, but both 360 and PS3 sales were pretty poor (even by an average month's standards). Not sure anyone would have predicted sales quite like these...unless I missed something.
Expected a bigger jump for both consoles even though GTAIV sold well itself. Maybe it's time to admit that both 'HD' consoles are still too high? Meanwhile, Nintendo continues to sell like mad. I would imagine we'd see a better jump for 360 and PS3 after a full month of GTA next month, but who knows.
