They had to help him to the locker room. If his ankle isnt at least fractued, I will be shocked. It was bent all the way down from the side....OUCH!

LOL, I wont lie...I was thinking it. However, they just said on ESPN that the X-Rays were negative and he will be reevaluated before their next game...

lol... it's a wonder anyone helped him up, now that I think about it... I'd have thought "here he goes again" even if I was a teammate... it was only a sprain though.

where's the Rashard Lewis thread? He got injured this game as well - Sonics are screwed big-time if their now-prime scorer (since Ray got injured) is also out...

Usually watching stuff like this is hard for me, but for some reason I can watch it over and over with no effect. I honestly wonder if that's just because of whose ankle it is...

You can't just blow off an ankle sprain like it's nothing, though. I sprained my ankle really bad about ten years ago. I heard about 3 or 4 popping sounds in quick succession, and it swelled up almost immediately. I thought I had broken it. I had to use my left foot on the gas and brake pedals when I drove home, because I couldn't put any weight on my right. It was just a sprain, but I didn't have full mobility back for at least six weeks.

Unlike us, their role players can still carry through without their star. So it doesn't matter

Last night was a good example of that. They were down by more than 10 in the 4th and still came back to win without Dirk.

I hate irk Flopwitski as much as the next Rockets fan, but I don't want to wish any serious injury upon him or any other player for that matter.

I couldn't watch the replay, that stuff just bothers me. But man, I would trade that ankle for McGrady's back any day.

Come on...he's just asking for a measly broken ankle. It's not like he wants Nowitski to die or anything...

dirk is a great player. I don't like him but still wish him well. Mavs games
are not the same without him.
