    ...this is going too far.

It's one game folks. You guys act like we were a front-runner, heck we've always had issues that people knew didn't make us anywhere near a contender.

We know about Hayes, Alston, and Howard not being enough. We know about T-macs poor shooting. And we know that Battier doesn't shoot enough, and that there's no third option unlike every other serious team.

Somehow you guys thought this team was still going to go far.

Now what amazes me - truly astounds me in fact. Is that after one game. One freakin game - this board is divided into the 80% who think it's all over for us, and the 20% who thinks we should still blindly follow.

Get a grip. Man, it's one freakin game. No, we're not elite. Guess what - neither are the Jazz. Guess what - anything can happen in the playoffs. An 8th seed can make it to the finals. An 8th seed can knock of a one seed. Folks, this is the fun part of the season. There's nothing left to do but enjoy. The playoffs are almost here. There's no more speculation - no need to say anything, just watch.

We're not doomed against the Jazz in the first round. Yall act like this was game 7 when we haven't even played game one. Heck, we still have another game against these guys in the regular season.

Take a deep breath. Say it: It's just one game.

Now - stay humble, and just watch. Enjoy. Afterall, it's not just about winning a championship is it?

Amusing to watch the body count at CF.Net pile up as the horde of posters jumps off the cliff like a pack of lemmings. From the top down.

    The sun rises tomorrow.

Guess what - the coach who brought the 8th-seeded New York Knicks to the Finals is:
    Jeff Van Gundy
    Believe in your coach!!!

He is referring to the fact that some say the Rockets championships are diminished because Jordan wasn't in the league.

NewYorker, I think what people were pissed about was not about the loss, it was more of how the loss came about.

If the Rockets fought the Jazz tooth and nail all the way to the loss, we (or maybe I personally) would have said, nevermind chaps, you have already given your very best... there is always next time.

Unfortunately, that wasn't the case in this game. The Rockets failed to show their intensity for the first quarter and part of the second quarter. There were questionable plays and their defence was lacking at some point. Their rebounding (although they did outrebound the Jazz by 1) could have been much much better. The hustle and the effort weren't 100%.

I don't really care about the win or loss here. I do very much care however, that the Rockets show up to play with all their hearts.

Well, unfortunately for you those Suns still haven't set. :)

I'm one of those weird people that actually likes the Suns. I'm rooting for them to take out Dallas if we don't succeed in the 2nd round.

I support JVG. Sadly though taking those Knicks to the finals is the most impressive mark on his resume. Except maybe for being tutored under Riley. He hasnt proven as much as people think. He puts out some mean defenses and his teams always suffer scoring droughts. And thats about it...

I'm not giving up- if we had had one more minute in last nite's game-I really believe we would have won. I never gave up during the game- I really thought we would win.

    disappointing- Hell yes!

We have a stretch run to make-still have a possibility of home court-even without it I really believe we can beat the Jazz in the 1st round!
