As usual, Feigen has written a great article for the chron.

However, Cato seems to have his nerves back:
"It was my call to go back in," Cato said. "I'm trying to get in shape for the season. The only way to get in shape is to get in there. You can't get in shape for games unless you play. You can't get in shape sitting on the side acting all hurt. You can't get in a rhythm sitting on the side.

"It hurt, but I could play. It still hurts."

Stop talking to the media Kelvin! I like what you've done so far this season. Don't ruin it all by trying to be a media darling too. Mean Cato, be mean!

It was short, but I think we all learned a valuable lesson about the true meaning of friendship.

yeah it takes a genius to report the facts, sorry Heb but that was a rather lame Feigan article.

And I think i liked Cato more with his mouth shut!!!!

Is it a coincidence, that right after we lose Jackson, he speaks to the media? I sure hope this doesn't mean he's going to return to being the same old lazy a**, good for nothing Cato of old. He's apparently preparing us for his next stint on the IR ( "It still hurts." ).

There's no point in bashing Cato when he sucks if we don't give him his props when he plays hard and toughs it out.

Keep your chin up, Kelvin. We're pulling for you.

Also, this isn't exactly a Barkley quote. Players, in some instances even when they aren't talking to the media, will respond to questions about injuries.

I'm with Will. Don't call him a lazy jerk and then when he tries to do the right thing say he is still a jerk. Have some consistency.

That sounds pretty consistent to me, Jeff. :)

Actually, I doubt that we should review this article for an award. It's a fix. But when a senior poster questions it, frankly it pisses me off. I will....

Oh, anyway... Smeg, aren't you excited that Feigen (not Feigan) is there to write something up on just the day-to-day conditions of the team. It's an insight. It's tangible. I notice your fav Fran is waiting for just a few more metaphors to collect in his mullet before he contributes to the articlepool.

    Damn fine paragraph, heb. :)

    Smeg,

What would you know about "good" anything?

I agree with Will and Jeff (he can be Grace), this is not an ammunition quote...this is a guy saying the right thing. People such as Houstone amaze me daily with their insightful comments...

Rempeber it is still pre-season. Once he does plays gutty when it counts will we start praising him. I personally think Cato is so clumsy that he can't help but to get hurt. Clumsy baskball players always get hurt.

I for one was shocked that he came back in. If he keeps this kind of determination going he might start getting a little fan support. Go Potato Go..:p

nah any Schmoe with half a brain could write up day to day conditions of the team, that includes yourself at the Utah Moronville Summer League :D, your reporting was certainly much more informative and question deceptively deep.

And don't worry the MULLET will deliver a Gem with his next article!!!
