What is JVG and management going to do to this team? Who do they need next year to improve this team?

Trade or waive Jim Jackson, for a start.

ibet major changes will likely be made mainly because of Turnovers. WE got the crapiest passers in the history of the nba.

Before the collapse, the Rockets were shooting 14 FREAKING PERCENT!!! Mobley kept jacking 3s as if he thinks he can make it. Francis went back to his dribbling. Yao wasn't himself, and Jackson couldn't the side of a barn. Sad.

Try to get a true point guard and a power forward. Cuttino, Yao and J.J. are already good shooters. Now we need someone that can help yao and someone that can distribute the ball better to Yao.

Send Yao to military camp in the summer and have Steve and Mobley enroll in summer class.

    Turnovers:

    1. Jim Jackson: when he try to dribble or pass
    2. Mobley&SF: when they try to pass, or when they don't sleep well.
    3. YM: when he try to put the ball in low post.
    4. Marc Jackson: when he try to post anybody in the league.
    5. Cato: when he try to shoot.

Get a real power forward AT ALL COSTS!!!

You don't need a pure PG as much as a PURE freaking POWER FORWARD... especially in the West.

A pure PG can help your team over-achieve... but things like turnovers and bad shooting will still hurt you.

A solid PF can help this team get away with mistakes... no team will ever be flawless, thus its oh-so-important we get somebody like that.

I want the Rockets to keep Stevie, Yao, Mobley, Jimmy, Mo, Cato, Nachbar, and Mark...

We really need a solid power forward..but Cato and Taylor are good. Spoon really doesn't matter..no one else really wants him...we aren't going to waive him either.

I don't know...how or what we are going to do.

    Rockets need Yao...to be more dominant..more consistent...just better...he was quite bad tonight..horrible

    T-Mac T-Mac T-Mac T-Mac T-Mac! That's who we need to trade for :D

Then sign Brent Barry if somewhat cheap.

    But yes...

no, don't you know steve francis is all that is wrong with this team. if we just get that good, under control pg that everyone craves, everything will be great. yao will dominate, our pf's won't get killed every night, that pesky backcourt depth problem that makes both guards play 40+ minutes per night will be gone, the D will be even better, points will grow on trees, cats and dogs will love each other, **** will turn into gold and there will be peace in the middle east.

you can get all the pure point you want, but if our pf situation is still the same we're still going to get killed every night there and if we have no 3rd guard the pure pg will drop dead half way through the season. if we're going to trade francis, that better be third on the list of things that get taken care of.

people hate the guards so much they ignore the bigger problems.

Find some way to fire JVG, get him to walk away, or at the very least hire an offensive coordinator

What a heat of the moment comment. Look at the stats for'03-'04. Jackson was maybe the largest veteren influence. The very veteren influence that could've made this series go 7 if not for a few shots.

Who's more experienced? We had who? JJ? 40 eyar old MJ? They had 4 top 50 players and good support? Is anyone surprised? I'm not. Just enthusiastic. Nachbar was underutilized as a weapon. Playing 6 players for most of the game is bound to make your guys more tired than if you have like even 8 players.

I think we should definitely get an offensive coordinator or get a better offense...MAIN THING is to get a good power forward...without disassembling our core...I want to keep everyone...so I don't know how we will get that good power forward..Eddie Griffin lol.

But I think more calls should be called for Mobley..and Jimmy..I don't know..we need some adjustments...

I'm already excited for next season!

Get someone who can protect the ball, and get rid of any player that can NOT protect the ball.

Too many turnovers killed this team and most of them were by Francis, he should go.

I am certain that the BobCats will play a major role.

Wouldn't it be something if the Rockets DID NOT protect Steve Francis.

Charlotte would have to take him and give the Rockets instant cap room.

As much as it pains me, either Cat or Francis has to go. There is only room for 1 starting shooting guard on this team. The other (plus either Taylor or Cato) needs to be traded for a pure PG and a dominant player (see T-Mac). Yao cannot, SHOULD NOT, be the focal point of a team, he would do much better in a supporting role as the "solid player."

Get a big man that can actually catch a pass and doesn't get half of his shots blocked.
