    ...is there anywhere in the area to ride roller coasters? RefLady is a roller coaster enthusiast, and we just don't have time to go to San Antonio right now.

    Is there anywhere closer? Galveston, etc???

    Not yet. They are building it now. That would be perfect because its about 15 minutes from RefLady's house.

    Oh PLEASE do not take your gf to one of these. My friends and I stopped in cause we thought it would be fun. We left feeling SO violated. It was a bunch of pervs staring down 13 year old girls. You can tell they're undressing you with their eyes. Eww.

    Similar story.

    I went to the indoor carnival at the Astrodome.

    The dude at the huge ferris wheel would mumble to tell us what gondola to go to.

    We had no clue what he said. It was funny.
