In the last two games,a lot of problems coming.
We are really lucky to win Bobcats tonight.
We see a lot one on one play when AB and Ron in,esp when they really shoot badly ......
Yao and Lowry's 3s saved us.......
But we may not be lucky another night..
Why RA didnot play other players instead of Ron when he is playing one on five ball?
    Scola 7-10
    Yao 9-11
    Landry 3-6
    Artest 5-12
    AB 2-12
Oh,can AB and Ron just realize that they should pass the damn ball to someone who is shooting better ?I think Ron will cost us more games like LA if he keeps playing so............

Good teams still win when they play bad. Thats what we did against the Bobcats. I think the overall form since the all star break outweighs 2 games, one of which we still won. Way to over react.

Disagree. It's true that they should've pass the ball and dribble less. Selfishness costs a W.

    Good thread. 5 stars.

Ron is a star player, but NOT a super star. However, the problem is he thinks he is!

You don't just stop shooting if you are a good shooter.

While I do agree that Aaron Brooks could pass a little more, 12 shots isn't that bad for a good perimeter shooter.

He also had a few of his attempts take some unfriendly bounces.

"I wanted the ball," Artest said. "I always want the ball at the end. Unfortunately, it wasn’t for me. I thought it was a turnover, but Shane made a big hustle play and he got me the ball. I always like to be in a situation like that."

Ron took some bad shots and overdribbled at times, but I thought Aaron did what he was supposed to (minus the turnovers). He just missed shots. But we want him to be aggressive. You can't just try to run it through Yao all the time, because if you do the offensive will bog down.

I thought he only took a couple bad shots, including the one at the end before his 18 footer to put us up 3. Its amazing how many want to vilify the guy for a play or two of over dribbling even after the big shot at the end and the steal.

Is AB qualified as a good shooter at this moment?

    Yes.

Same way Rafer was NOT a 20% shooter last year, even though for the first half of the season his numbers looked like that.

i think ab did ok tonight minus the shots not falling. i's still like to see lowry starting and playing more minutes, but i doubt anything will change this season.

the trouble has been with artest, though. 2 games in a row he's had bad 4th quarters in key possessions. even his last heroic block was a huge gamble; i don't believe that was the best play at the time. and his post-game quotes make me roll my eyes.

Geez...half-empty guys! Was Kenny Smith's "blindfoled shot" in the last couple of seconds against Orlando in game 2 of the '95 Finals a bad shot? Of course it was; if he missed it! But, he made it and it was one of the best shots in Rockets history.

Tonight, Ron made the block -to call it a bad play is ridiculous especially after the fact that he made it (especially for the win). Can't understand the pessisism especially after a tough win...

It's not like Charlotte is a horrible team at the moment. They're one of the hottest in the NBA at the moment, playing great bball.

Good win! Learn to see the forest before the trees.

it's not pessimism. what if radman falls to the floor and the refs blow their whistle? it had already happened once in the game. you never foul a jump shooter.

and that was not the only boneheaded play in the 4th quarter by ron.

his post quotes were alarming, too. what did he mean it was "unfortunate" when the last play wasn't called for him? i guess it was originally called for yao, but that's besides the point. his sense of entitlement to the last shot is troublesome. creating shots through dribbles isn't his strong suit. he'd be a better catch-and-shoot guy (or one dribble to his left).

What if YAo didnt make that3?
    Things would be changed@
You cant expect Yao make a 3 when time is about to run out in everygame.
RA said that he is not happy for the win,,,,,,

What if Aaron doesnt lose the handle at the end or have a bad shooting night.(yes, even if you are shooting 40%, a 2 for 12 night constitutes a bad shooting night)

What if Ron doesnt have another terrible game from the three.

What if Battier makes the easy 3's and misses the hard one, instead of the other way around.

What if your Aunt had balls, then she would be your Uncle.
