Now I'm not saying this because I dislike T-Mac or anything like that, but it is now apparent more than ever that he does not fit. For a couple of reasons:

    1. Every time down the court he is the last one back. EVEN slower than Scola, and sometimes Yao. He is JOGGING down the court on what could be a fast break. At one point in the game the fast break count was 0-9 in their favor.

    2. At times it seemed like he was ASKING for the ball, and when not getting, it looked like he got frustrated, and put his hands up. This coincides directly with him not knowing what to do, or where to go in the game.

He's playing hurt isn't he? I don't know for sure, as I haven't been able to watch the last couple of games.

At least he's trying. Or do we still want to call him a quitter? I don't get it...damned if you do, damned if you don't. I guess that's what comes with the big dollars.

He still seems very, very rusty and sluggish from the injury. Case in point on his first drive to the rim...had wide pen lane and could barely move, thus the defender caught up to him and poked ball away as he was going up from layup.

When he is healthy enough to run and cut hard, there should be many more off ball plays called for him. Right now he is basically just a decoy.

give him some time...this guy just can't do anything right...and even if we do trade him we need him to raise his value some..so regardless of what we do we need to give him some time

also even when tmac is not on the floor i dont really see much of a motion offense with the other players...the whole rockets team is just sucking and playing very motionless...i guess its b/c its an afternoon game???

Last play of the Spurs game, he was the one who was able to set up Yao for 2 free throws because of a foul.

Silly thread, Tracy is still injuried but he's out there and his presence is making life so much easier for Yao and the supporting cast, give the guy a break for christ sake.

DAMNED IF YOU DO AND DAMNED IF YOU DONT. Seriously, the guy is not even close to 100%. When he sits out, we call him soft for not toughing it out. Then when he tries to play at less than 100%, we call him lazy. We would have not won today's game without him. Make up your minds

I'm more concerned with his statements that he expects his knee to be like this the rest of the season:

If today is as good as it is going to get for him health wise this season then he isn't going to be near enough to contend for anything but another first round exit.

You've got be to kidding me.

This is TMac's 2nd game back after not playing in a month. He is obviously not 100%. And yet, Tmac's presence made a HUGE difference in the outcomes of the last two games. The Rockets need TMac. Like Bill Worrell said, a 60% TMac is better than any other guard we have out there.

I'm sick of these threads, too. Anyone in his situation deserves more time not to mention TMac is a superstar. But I have to say this, it's gonna be hard for you to accept that right now Yao is the best player of this team.

After seeing today's game vs. the Sonics I am more convinced than ever that we should not trade T-Mac. Even in a hobbled leg he does sooo much more than anyone else not named Yao. Give him more time.

ClutchFans, New Thread Rules for Tracy Haters:

    1. Rockets Win, TMAC with a good game
Thread: Tracy is a ball hog, makes the offense lethargic, doesn't play in the system, could have been a bigger win! Trade him!

    2. Rockets Win, TMAC not playing due to injury
Thread: We are better without Tracy! Trade him!

    3. Rockets Lose, TMAC not playing due to injury
Thread: Trade his injury prone ass for **SOME CHUCKER**(Please feel free to add Ben Gordon, Michael Redd, etc.)

    4. Rockets Win, TMAC with bad game
Thread: If we had Kobe we would have blown them out by 50 points! Trade Tracy + Shane + Yao for Kobe.

    5. Rockets Lose, Tmac with good game.
Thread: Tmac can't lead this team to a win! Doesn't fit with the system, seems to stand around and stare at the hot RPDs. Trade him back to the Magic for Francis & Mobley.

This is a ridiculous thread. From my observations, I think T-mac can and will fit in very well in Adelman's offense.

His knee is a huge concern. I'd rather he keep resting it than playing at 75%.

dont worry guys. t-mac's just saying he's hurt so he wont have to go to the all-star game. i've got a feeling he'll be "healthy" right after all-star break. :D
