You guys were a lot of help the other day, most of my problems are fixed except for this Look2Me......It's driving me crazy.

I been trying for days to get rid of it.

Anyone deal with this before ?

I have another question. In earlier editions of Windows you could open up Task manager and stop all programs except systray and explorer. Is that the same in Windows XP or is it different. I mean what can I end and what do I absolutely need to leave running?

lol i'm no brainiac... i'm a victim just like you...

actually... i remember it clearer now... i was removing a bunch of spywares... this look2me is nasty though.

they have a remover on their website

    http://www.look2me.com/cgi-bin/UnInstaller

i think that worked... but if you can find a way do it yourself, i'm sure that's better.

spyware and adware should be illegal... i don't know why it's not.

I figured it out: Anything that has System, Local Service, or Network Service needs to be left alone.
