for Vince Carter, relatively our best scorer for the last few years disregarding this year has gone done (again) and now we have no wing player who will be able to "impose his will" :D on a game, so without question, now we trade for vince, at the right price

Feigen has made it clear that Vince will not be a Rockets this season.

Apparently, the Nets rejected any offer that involved McGrady.

They counter-offered with Artest, Battier, Landry and Brooks and it was up to the Rockets at that point.

There are also multiple threads about Vince Carter rumors.

no way we are trading Landry, Battier, Artest and Head for Vince after last night.

did anyone else realize how important last night's game was? there was no doubt the whole team heard of the Nets counteroffer. i find it hilarious how Shane Battier conveniently had his best game of the season the day the trade rumor broke out. Artest and Landry were also playing hard out there.

do you all realize how different it would have been had the team come out lethargic, as so often as we've seen them this season, with Artest taking bad shots, and Battier bricking wide open ones, while the Nets were to win with Carter dropping 30+ points?

we'd probaly have 10 trade for Carter threads today.
