If you look on the back of the 1 dollar bill, you will see a pyramid with an eye... up under that is the words "Novus ordo Seclorum". That means "New World Order", which is a rare coincidence that back in the Bible, it mentions of it and now, 60 years ago we start putting it on OUR money! I tell you guys, the Bible is the book you shouldn't believe in.
Have you read Angels and Demons, as well as the following, and more famous, The Da Vinci Code, by Dan Brown? Terrific and fascinating reads. I'm sure there was a marathon thread about The Da Vinci Code that I missed. Keep D&D Civil!!! And the ClutchFans Tip Jar Full!!!
please point out to me where the Bible uses the phrase New World Order...i read the Bible pretty regularly...like everyday...and i've never come across that.
I recall it, but didn't pay too much attention since I haven't read the book. Is it worthwhile? Isn't it supposed to be fiction? ( uh... careful Deckard )
I'm not a prophecy expert -- (I do know how the story ends the rest is just the steps leading their) but I do believe that the books of Daniel and Revelation talk about the Anti-Christ ruling the world --- in essence that would be a one world government.
Uh, It's kinda in between fiction and non-fiction, according to the author. (I'm trying to be careful here! ) edit: I didn't post at the time because I hadn't read the books either. Really liked them. Very, uh, educational. Keep D&D Civil!!
I think the books are fiction sprinkled with some facts to make them interesting. But I still enjoyed reading them.
but this is supposed to be a direct translation to the words New World Order...Looney said it was also to be found in the Bible. as if there was some correlation between what's written in the Bible and the Novus Ordo Seclorum on the dollar bill. there's not. oh..and by the way...it doesn't translate to mean New World Order, either. and interpreting Revelation isn't that simple!
