OMG I was watching the shot he made to win it for us against the Kings on YouTube like 10 minutes ago and just thought to myself, what if Novak hit a gamewinner like that this game for the Clippers.... What a huge coincidence!
I can't believe Rockets traded away this guy. He had potential, a lot better player than Brent Barry.
man novak was soo hot he was icing his hand during the timeouts. actually he was hit on the hand so he hit the shot the ball basically with his shooting hand numb. the man is freakin awesome
Sureshot was on fire the whole damn game. He's actually been on fire the whole season, whenever he has the balls to shoot it.
Congrats to Novak. I sure wish we could have kept him. He would have provided some good shooting off the bench when Brent's game isn't flowing. Best of luck to him.
So let's count up the "damn I wish Novak was still a Rocket" posts. The only problem with Novak is that his man scores like Brad Pitt at a typical Houston club. "All night long"
So you accuse someone of taking drugs for a differing opinion. Cmon, what has Brent done lately apart from being a mentor? Rocket's could have used Novak's 3s.
Can Novak play the point? Even as SG, can he pass the ball as well as Brent? Can he call timeout in certain situations? (like last game, despite the loss) Can he give advise to Yao and mentor younger players?
last season would you have traded Novak for Berry? If you say yes don't say you'd want to have Novak this season
These are what ifs. We have enough players to play the SG role. And lately Brent Barry has been useless.
Where would Novak get minutes on the current Rockets team? He only gets minutes on the Clips due to injuries to their rather horrible team. If the Rockets wanted a shooting at the 3/4 spot, either Artest or Battier would be better options that offer more skills such as passing, defense, etc. Artest even shoots a better % from the arc than Novak going into last night.
