If you don't follow politics or don't even know who the candidates are- it's probably a waste of time voting. I would spend that extra 1 hour playing Madden.

You can always abstain from voting on races you don't follow.

If anything, go vote on the propositions, which are explained on the ballot themselves.

P.S. Vote against red light cameras. We all can do without those damned things.

On election day, you have to vote at your precinct location. DonnyMost's link should help you find it.

No kidding. I hate the campaign promo that has all the medical professionals talking about how many serious injuries are caused by red-light runners.

Guess what? If the people that cause these accidents don't look at the intersection after the light turns red, they sure aren't going to look up to see if there is a camera and react in a split second.

I am surrounded by those cameras in Midtown.

There is literally one at every major intersection entering and leaving my neighborhood/commute.

They have a hair trigger, too.

Voting booths for Republicans are located in all of the Metro park & ride lots for convenience.

By the way, are you a Republican or a Democrat? If you're a Republican, you're right, you should vote tomorrow. If you're a Democrat, you vote on Wednesday. :p

i dont think people should vote if they have to ask if they can just show up to any polling booth, check a box, and walk away thinking they did their civic duty.

if you don't know whether you are registered to vote, you shouldn't vote.

 If a driver knows that many intersections have cameras and that the chance of being ticketed is pretty good, he'll stop at red lights without knowing if there is a camera or not, just in case. A driver on a regular route who knows which intersections have cameras might behave differently at each intersection because of that knowledge, but he won't need to look up to know whether or not he should stop.

Interestingly enough, the only time I've seen anything about Tea partiers, it has been from the left.

I know you 20 somethings know everything these days, but...

Propositions aren't always explained well on ballots. They tend to be very vague. If you don't know anything about the races or propositions, then I would suggest not voting.
