I am now officially a believer that Brandon Jennings can be a special player. Didn't know he had so much to offer.
It wasn't just his stat line, it's how he played down the stretch. He has "it". You can see it by the look on his face and how he carries himself on the court, especially when the game is on the line. He makes his share of mistakes but he just needs more time to gauge what is possible at the NBA level.
Brandon Jennings is quickly becoming one of my favorite players. For a rookie to completely take over his team and lead them to victory is special. Too bad we won't get to see Jennings and Rubio develop in the NBA at the same time. I have a feeling that would be a great matchup for years to come, especially with Jennings trash talking Rubio erier this year.
I missed the game down the stretch. When I turned it was about 25 seconds left. I definitely will watch the Bucks a lot this year and he will be the only reason.
CP3 putting up 16 pts, 6 asts, three steals and the Hornets scoring 56 in the first half would normally be a good thing... but against Phoenix it just puts them behind by 19. Damn, the Suns are back.
If you have LP Broadband, watch the 4th quarter if you have a few minutes. Thank me later. Jennings makes some mistakes for sure, but he doesn't carry himself like someone with only 6 NBA games of experience. It's gonna be tough for me to squeeze in more than a precious few Bucks games but I'll try.
He looks miserable on that team, I guess one less team Rox will need to worry about because they look lottery bound...I like Lowery and Brooks but I'd LOVE CP3 in a Rox uni lol
What really helped him was playing overseas and being coached hard. I've said it before, a lot of these young guys aren't coached, they're managed. From aau to 1 yr of college. Those coaches really can't do anything with them because they're not there long enough. When jennings went overseas and was thrown out of practices, he saw first hand the pro game aint no joke. He got to play against men every night vs guys that can't even shave. I've always thought a lot more guys should go play overseas and don't even worry about college. In some cases, the high end juniors should go over there. It not only helps their game because all they're doing is skill work and practicing, but it helps them live the life of a professional.
