'Nother math riddle...

    Well, using 4 4's (ie. 4 + 4 - 4 - 4), would it be possible to make them come out with 10?

    You may only use addition (+), subtraction (-), multiplication (x), and division. You may NOT use powers, negatives, square roots, ANYTHING aside from those 4 basic processes.

    try this (((4+4+4)*4)-4-4)/4


    That should work

    (44-4)/4
    That equals 10 and only uses 4 4's

    Iron McFist are you allowed to combine them the way castor did? If not I think its impossible. I can do it with 5 though: ((4*4)-4)/4)+4 = 10.

    Johny I believe your post above is 7.
    4*4=16 - 4 =12 /4 =3 +4 =7

    Actually with 5 4's you could do it this way.

    ((4+4)/4)+4+4=10

    I dont remember how i did it with 5 4s but i thought i got it to work maybe it was your way IDK. I am really tired I havent slept much this week (to many F@#$ing school projects.) I am going to bed now (the first time in almost a week I am going to bed before midnight well actually maybe not if i dont hurry cya'll later)
