After tonight's game I do think there's a chance that Artest and T-Mac could learn to play the motion offense. They did a good job for the first three quarters and it seemed like they were committed to actually playing it. Didn't anyone else notice that Artest was passing?

But more than half the season's gone and my gut feeling is that the Rockets aren't going to have enough time to get as comfortable within their offense as the Lakers/Spurs/etc. are within theirs.

I don't want Artest anymore, he doesn't fit....get an attack the basket penetrating player to compliment our softies on the perimeter.

For the most part Tmac played within it though. I liked what he did tonight.

Big 3 has been a failure more than halfway through the season. There is no other way to put it, it's been a failure.

the offensive identity we attained in that short 10 game stretch without T-Mac and Artest is now long gone....

We're done. How long before we're in ninth place? Before the All Star Break or after?

Remember the Miami Heat were able to put things together just in time to win a championship a couple seasons back. That team was able to develop on the run.

The Rockets do need to start putting things together NOW though.

No trades needed. If we get a new players, its just gonna require even more time to get the chemistry. As of now, this team does have the talent and also the chemistry. Really, the only problem to solve is there consistency from game to game, quarter to quarter.

Sorry but I agree to disagree. I ould rather take Artest and his future ten mil contract over Tmac and his contract and year after.

but they both dont work well together. But with Artest you get better defense. And I am sorry but Shane's defense is still declining. His reaction times for hand in the face is slower then it used to be. It is time for this team to start building around someone and while I do not think or even wish for it to be Artest I also believe it might be to late to build around Yao? Yes no? They should have spent that money on stronger shooters from the 1 to the 4 (most def the four) to make Yao more dominant. But sadly as much as he is my favorite player (Rockets and overall) I will acknowledge his age and height/weight combined with injuries is putting him on the slopes.

    We're not done.

We'll make the playoffs and we'll have a chance to eliminate the Fakers. And I'm sure, book it.

I am now in the mode to give it till the 17th and see where the team stands at that point if things have not improved then make the move that can help the team.

Big 3 has been a failiure since the Rockets didn't make advertising around them like the Celtics did...

Because McGrady attacked the rim and he is a good playmaker. And when he is agressive himself (looks to score) he fits well.

Ron is just useless. He DOESNT ATTACK THE RIM AT ALL...
