Of late Yao has been going to the hole regularly with an assortment of pump fakes, head fakes ...maybe even an extra step or two. Problem is he's showing too much of the ball to defenders! I get really edgy when i see him holding the ball for more than 2 seconds. It looks as though he's about to lose possession any moment. Also I think he's a little too concerned about watching his man...so much so that he forgots to rebound. They've been numerous times when i've seen Yao practically mesmerized by his man while the ball clangs off the rim....... sometimes even on offense! It's frustrating...absolutely frustrating! I think Yao needs a Fundamental sound check. If there were a Fundamental Scale, it would be Garnett Duncan Sabonis Yao (For those 7 feet and above, the rest arn't worth mentioning)
what about dirk.. hes a 7 footer oh yeah and hes been in the league for 4 years now(i could be wrong) and yao is a rook.... patience is a virtue
"well it's kinda hard with you talking like that." "ok..i'm not talking...not talking now..be the ball."
He's too concerned about watching his man?!?!?!? IF HE WAS, why is he letting his opposing center scoring like 20,17,18,10,26,15? Well...it's not bad for us. Let the centers shoot. They can't make em forever. But Yao has to at least stick his hands up... At least we're winnin for now. Yao...yes. He does show the ball too much. That's why.....AT 7-6, he still gets blocked. He has Tito Maddox's problem. But he will overcome it! FUNDAMENTAL LEADERS: 1. Tim Duncan Not Kevin Garnett. But KG is good too.
