Any Nostradamus fans? I had heard years ago (before bin laden) that a threat to the West would come in the form of a turban-wearing .. er... evil person. I just read that he also said the Muslim commander would be sport a 'a black, frizzled beard'. A lot of fake stuff attributed to Nostradamus out there...is this one?
i remember watching that cheesy nastrodamus movie from the eighties. I think he said that the muslim leader would wear a blue turban. For what its worth
If I remember correctly, Nostradamus or NAZ as his homies called him, predicted 3 anti-christs. People that follow and I guess try to interpret his writings have said the first 2 anti-christs were Napoleon and Hitler. The third one originally had been thought to be Sodamn Insane (Saddam Hussein), but now people think Osama bin Hidin' (Osama bin Laden) is it. According to NAZ, the 3rd one is going to be worse than the others combined. *EDIT* : ok, I just looked it up and yes, the above is correct. i tried reading some book with his prophecies in it... stupid thing sucked. he says something, and people take another meaning out of it and apply it to what he said...
Maybe it's the Greek version of Bin Laden... or the Guatemalan... or the Honduran... or the Salvadoran... dang it, there are so many blue and white flags out there...

How can you debunk prophecies? It's not like they're predictions. They're just futures that our decisions may or may not prevent from happening. What makes Nostradamus special is just how specific many of his on-target prophecies are.
thats an interesting page, although a lot of folks on the message board sound incredibly nutty (there is one that thinks he is jesus and another is the anti-zionist version of a certain D&D poster). All in all, interesting stuff even though I remain really skeptical.
