With the playoffs coming up, I looked for videos of Game 1 and 2 of the Mavs series. Didn't feel like watching games 3-7. Man, what a series it was until game 7 :(. Tmac was doing his thing, Yao was also. We had Wesley, Sura, and Barry for 3's. And Rybo did the dirty work. Mike James was actually good  .

The one guy I miss the most is Bobby.

    props to R2K BTW!

    Game 2 Highlights

    Enjoy.

Man, I remember watching that series. The first two games are one of my favorite Rocket games. It was fun living up here in Dallas and getting to hear all the journalists/sportsradio talkshow hosts talk about how they were getting their asses handed to them. I still remember one time on espn radio some host and a guest comparing Tmac to Michael Jordan....with longer arms.

God those were times. I miss Sura so damn much. I loved watching that guy play.

It's inevitable, T-Mac ALWAYS shows up come playoff time. Can't deny that. He turns it up to another level.

i still don't understand how this team didn't get a lot further in the playoffs...other than finley obviously standing out of bounds.

they had the chemistry, talent, and toughness. i don't buy the age of the players argument. hmmmm....

definitely one of the more likable (sp?... likeable?) teams personality wise ever of this franchise.

Haha, It was one of those heat check 'let me get the crowd to go crazy' pull up 3's. Too bad he can't make any this year. Or at least hasn't made one in a while.

Good stuph, mang. After the heartbreak of Game 7 of that series, I kinda blocked out much of the good that took place in it. It's good to get a reminder now and then.

Are those R2K's highlight clips, by the way? They sure loom like it.

injuries. injuries. injuries are killing our playoff run this season. injuries made bobby retire. injuries made yao go out. injuries made stevie go out. injuries made yao and tracy never play a good amount of game together ever since their first year together. injuries made barry retire.

:( our past 3 years, has been a killa.

i can easily see why the team didnt go further, no athletes. we probably had the slowest backcourt in the league, not to mention short. i mean, just SMH @ david wesley being our starting 2 guard. we depended guys like ryan bowen for success. also, yao was not quite as good at that time.

in the playoffs, "heart" and hustle can only take you so far, you must also have talent. that is why once again the rockets will be in trouble come playoff time. we have more talent than 04-05 now, but we don't have yao.

That team also could not get the ball up court past the halfcourt line without turning it over every other possession (it seemed like). I loved Sura as much as you guys, but the guy couldn't dribble against pressure nor could Wesley.

If Tracy played with that kind of energy in the Adelman system when we need hin in the 4th quarter this year we would definitely win the championship it would be a lock.

I mentioned this before, but Tracy's game-winner at the end of game 2 is the greatest Rocket moment of the post-Hakeem era. Tracy delivered a classic playoff performance, Yao poured in 30, and Magic Johnson was talking about us possibly making the finals. It's been a series of disappointments since. Here's hoping this team finally breaks through with some playoff success.

man wesley and sura brought alot of heart and intensity, but boy they were midgets. stackhouse, finley, or whoever tmac/bowen didn't guard just posted them up and destroyed them.

compounded to the fact that our guards were too slow defensively as terry destroyed them.

Is there any way to download full games? I'd like to watch those games again before this years playoffs starts.
