3/13/09 -- Friday the 13th New Orleans @ Milwaukee -- Could go either way IMO.. I mean the Milwaukee Bucks are surprising people even with their injuries.. and they are at home.. Ramon Sessions vs. Chris Paul.. go bucks! New Jersey @ Portland - This one might be Portland's game... and they are coming off a loss at home so I think they will want to win, but you never know.. Go Nets! Dallas @ Golden State - Usually Golden State owns Dallas.. I don't know who's going to play for Golden State tonight so it's up in the air if they can beat the Mavs.. but at least they are at home.. The Mavs have won 2 straight home games on their roadtrip.. both against playoff teams. Go Warriors!
Out of the three games mentioned, I only see Portland winning. New Orleans hasn't been that great on the road, and the Bucks don't have a ton to play for at this point. Also, Charlie V has been playing very well. I think he had 30-some points just the other night. The Bucks also have Richard Jefferson and Sessions. They are at home too! That's important. Golden State will play Dallas Hard. Capt. Jack is putting up good numbers again, too. Plus, Golden State always wants to beat Dallas to repeat the 8th seed magic from two years back. Golden State is at home too! Portland will take Jersey without problem. I hope I'm right, but then again, I'm biased toward the Rockets.
Hornets will beat the Bucks, I don't care if they play careless or not. Blazers will beat the Nets if they are focused. Otherwise, wouldn't be surprised to see the Nets win. Dallas will beat the pathetic Warriors.
Besides the playoffs? Bucks are not a easy out, it seems like many playoff teams find this out the hard way.
Nope. The Bucks faded in the second half. Looking good in New Jersey though, and I'm optimistic about the Warriors tonight.
Man.. I hate how its a tease for the Hornets.. one minute you look.. the Hornets are losing and struggling, the next minute you look they are up by 8.. and the game is almost over..
I was wrong about the Bucks. My bad New Jersey is doing work in Portland, and I still expect Golden State to beat Dallas. Capt. Jack can't let me down now.
Yep, but that mentality will catch up to them. They're going to blow a few of those gimme games before the end of the season.
they said that stojakovic and morris peterson will be back monday in new orleans against the rockets...I have a feeling Chris paul will eat lowery and ab's lunch on monday...After watching their game tonight..he does whatever he wants on the court like kobe and no one can guard him
Blame Tracy, thanks for starting this thread up each day. It's nice to have a conversation about all the relevant games of our competition.
WTF? I just tried to tune in to the Nets-Blazers game, but it's blocked in my area. I live in Seattle, over 170 miles away from Portland and in another state. That's ridiculous. Is Portland now considered the home team for entire Northwest? Actually don't answer that.
watching a bit of the gsw dallas game and jason terry had a nasty facial on randolph i didnt even know he could dunk the ball.
I'm kind of nervous about the Nets holding on. I'm cautiously optimistic. Wish I could watch this one. I'm watching the Mavs-Warriors game, and I feel pretty good about Captain Jack and Crew winning this one.
Is anyone else having big problems with NBA LP Broadband this evening? 3 hours ago, it said there were no games for viewing. A few minutes ago, I was able to start watching Nets/Blazers near the end of the 3rd quarter. Then it told me the game was complete. Then it told me the game was blacked out in my area (Houston). The other two late games are "blacked out" too. This stinks.
...wow...Nets better not win this, would like some separation with how we've played the last two games.
