So said Mario Elie during the 2nd Championship run in 1995. He's right. Don't forget that during that run, in the Western Conference Finals, the Rockets won games 1 & 2 in San Antonio, lost games 3 & 4 in Houston, won game 5 in San Antonio, and then won game 6 and the series in Houston. It can be done. It will be done. Believe.
I believe. Again. No way Finley AND Stackhouse do that much damage tonight. And surely we can get one evenly officiated game.
I think we maybe getting down a bit but this is our team. During the second half of the season we won and lost in streaks. I personally think they will win the next 2 to win the series. We could have swept the series but that chance is gone, time to look forward and win this game tonite!
Let's get it on. I can hardly wait. I think that this is THE game that will decide the series. It is going to be exciting. I have no predictions other than it is going to be an extremely emotional, hard-fought game. And like the others, the little things will make a huge difference: every foul, every turnover, every missed free throw. This one is going to get ugly.
That's awesome, RMTex!!! I'm meeting a friend at Yao's today for lunch...just for karma! Can't wait for tonight...GO ROCKETS!!
I hope to see the Rockets come out with that toughness and grit that we loved this year. They looked too scared when the pressure was on the last two games.
I believe so bad it hurts. The defense has to show up tonight and stop the 3pt shot. Terry was a fluke but got wide open looks, so did Stackhouse. Plus the rebounding stunk - especially the defensive side. The refs have sucked but that doesn't make up for turnovers and poor shooting in the clutch. The Rockets have to execute. Blowing 4th quarter leads at home is not acceptable. GO ROCKETS!!!
If the refs can get their mouths off of Nowitzki and if they can forget they once in their long pathetic lives ate some bad Chinese food and need to take it out on SOMEBODY, I mean ANYBODY---but WHO? WHO can we unfairly blame? hmnnn---then this series will be over, as it should have been already.
What? Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no! And it ain't over now. 'Cause when the going gets tough . . . the tough get going. Who's with me? Let's Go! Come on! AAAAEEEEEGGGHHHH!! GO ROCKETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Of course, nobody ever said that we'd be a combined 10 minutes from winning the series, and choke away both leads with our star players going AWOL, either . Good point though: the team's made it harder, but they're still very much in it.
