Not surprised. You have the former head of officiating come out and say Green should be suspended and the NBA doesn't care. It's about money and power....Golden State had both in this case.
So Green has literally tackled and flipped Beasley, and kicked Adams. This is how fights start. You allow players to get away with more and more with out significant punishment, and if one does start and Curry or someone gets hurt, the NBA can only look to themselves. Game 4 will be called tight, but I expect to see quite a few skirmishes.
He clearly kicked balls. On purpose. There are some things that just shouldn't be allowed to be kicked.
Disagree. That might gain traction if OKC had a bigger market. The real rivalry is building Curry's Warriors as the GOAT against Jordan's Bulls. That GOAT? discussion would put eyeballs on the court to see if the hype is real for a good 3-5 years. Lebron showing up in the finals already serves as an excellent foil. OKC won't get the benefit of the calls until this series is over.
not sure what's the league is thinking, from what I see, it's intentional, and he targeted a dangerous part.
Ridiculous. And Green's excuse "taught to raise your right foot when shooting off your left foot". That's for a layup. Green was jumping off both feet, and purposely swung hi foot up and into Adams groin. The NBA simply proved they want GSW vs CLE. Green will put up big numbers next game and the Warriors will win. NBA league officials should be ashamed of themselves.
And remember when he cut the referee by carelessly swinging his arm in anger. Spoiler <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/6HiezLvF0Cg" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
One more flagrant point and he will miss a game. So basically he won't even get more flagrants this postseason.
