My apologies everyone for calling our 3rd pick “Reed Kerr”. Last night, without the stache, we finally got the summer league version of Sheppard. Confident and deadly from three! He also took his first freebies of the season! There is hope on the horizon and fortunately not the g-league. Nobody is asking for double digit scoring at this point in Reed’s career….just to look like he belongs and has the confidence to be on the court.
No worries about the mix-up on the name—it happens! I was just pumped to finally see Sheppard looking like the guy from summer league again. He was confident, knocking down those threes, and even got to the line, which was great to see. I’m not expecting him to drop 20 a night or anything, but last night he looked like he belonged, and that’s all you want at this stage.
