A friend of mine that works in the Traffic department(that is the division that books our radio spots for the NBA) got a tip from the local sports radio station about Tim Duncan. I verified it with a little phone call so it looks like its true. First, let me explain whats been going on here around the NYC area.

There have been numerous rumors about the Nets and the Knicks. The Nets are looking to deal the number 1 pick(as I posted before) and have contacted the Spurs to ask about Tim Duncan. The deal is the Nets sending the number one and Kittles to San Antonio for Tim Duncan in a sign and trade. That, right off the bat might not work because of the salaries...unless I am mistaken. But, it is true that they have discussed sending the number one to San Antonio for Tim Duncan.

The Knicks have discussed a trade involving Houston, Camby and Ward. Of course, they have discussed the same package for Payton. But that is another story.

Now, according to someone close to Duncan, he has said that he will never, ever, ever, ever, ever play in the Northeast. He doesn't like big cities. He doesn't like the cold weather. People close to him say that what it looks like now is that he will resign with San Antonio and there is a less than 10% chance of him signing with Orlando.

So does that mean that Houston will never, ever see him in a Rocket uni? Well...yes. It was never a possibility. This just insures it.

Ok , so Duncan signs a 1 year deal and then he can get the max dollars from Houston next year. I can wait a year for the man..no problem [IMG] [IMG].

Never say never when it comes to Rudy T and the Rockets. [IMG]
