"After consulting with the American Civil Liberties Union, the boy and his mother met with schools Superintendent Joseph Luongo, and asked why girls could expose their legs in skirts." Unbelievable.
I hope the mother knows that everyday he wears that skirt means she has to pay for an extra month of therapy when he gets older
This story reminds me of the guy who signed up for an account here and has his own website: http://www.skirtman.org/gallery.html
I remember when I first started school we couldn't wear shorts. (Klein ISD). When I was in 4th or 5th grade they changed it. I guess they figured out we lived in Houston, TX.
Manny... one of my friends at work just walked in my office as I was looking at that link, lets just say it didnt look good Was that dude really a member here?
rofl - well I don't know if it was really him but read this thread: http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=30345&highlight=skirtman&z=1
I dont know manram that *could* be the real guy, but Id be inclined to put money on it being a Keeley(or even BK) joke username.
For real? You're kidding, right? Would YOU wear skirts? I mean, you're "normal", right? Would you let your kids wear skirt if they were boys? Where's the father in all this? Sickens me.
i hope you are the one who is kidding. this kids in high school. he's 18 and he's making his own decision. its not like his mom is tortuing him and making him do it. hes doing it becuase thats the only way he can protest his school's stupid rules. I can tell you that i would definitely wear a skirt if they had that ridiculous rule at my old high school. at least hes doing something to be different and creative instead of being one of the lemmings that just bow to any rule that an "adult" makes just becuase "thats the way its supposed to be."
this is the type of kid bully's enjoy pounding into a pulp after class everyday.. really feel sorry for robby back in 9th grade sometimes.
