I can't find it here in Austin. NOT AGAIN!!! The greedy NBA strikes again, apparently. Go to NBA.com and send a scathing e-mail. Those of us who paid a lot of money (more than I should have) are getting shafted again so the NBA can promote the "NBA TV" channel that WAS free. They are using this as a ploy to squeeze more money from the cable/dish providers. And we're getting it royally you-know-where in the process. I will hate it, but this will be my 3rd and last season with League Pass. I'm tired of being jerked around so that they can line their pockets even more with NO regard for us, the NBA fan who paid good money for service we're NOT getting. What irony... I keep seeing commercials touting League Pass saying "See ALL the big games on League Pass!! Watch your favorite teams and don't miss the action!!". Bullsh!t. I hope I'm wrong, but I'm afraid I'm not.
I heard from the Kings board that the game will be on ESPN. Went to NBA.com and it showed on NBATV. Was wondering the same thing about which channel it is going to show. NBATV is all jerked up with the stupid ad loop.
I couldn't find the game on the League Pass schedule and it doesn't appear that it is on ESPN either. What the hell is this NBATV BS? I don't understand why they are splitting broadcasts between LP and NBATV!?!?! This is starting to Pxxx me off!
I have NBATV, and it is showing that NBA Greatest Games will be on at 3:00. I do have the time right, 3:00? This aggravates me as well, you spend 200 bucks so you don't miss a Rox game and I may be missing a Rox game !!!!!!!!!!
If it's the same thing as last time, it will be on Dish, but not Digital Cable. Sounds more like a Time Warner thing than League Pass.
This is what the League Pass description states on the NBA.com sight - "With NBA LEAGUE PASS, you will be able to see up to 40 regular season games a week. <B>Every televised NBA game not available on national TV is included in the package.</B> Local blackout restrictions apply." Well, the game is not availabe on national TV and I live in LA so the local blackout does not apply. So what is the deal here?!?!?
I think Deckard is right. Time Warner seems to point the finger at InDemand but I need to go bug them again (to no avail I'm sure). For those needing more info: http://bbs.clutchcity.net/php3/showthread.php?s=&threadid=49553 http://bbs.clutchcity.net/php3/showthread.php?s=&threadid=49555 Deckard, I already angrily emailed NBA.com when this BS first started and said pretty much the same thing. If they're going to mess with us, it's time to reconsider spending on them. Maybe I'll do it again today. I always enjoy your posts, btw.
This post is a placeholder. I want my name to appear in every NBA hate thread that is on this BBS because I am extremely angry about not being able to watch EVERY game that I choose to, after paying $160. We are a bunch of open checkbooks to the NBA.
According to the NBA.com schedule, this situation will happen 3 MORE TIMES this season with Rockets games only available on NBA TV. So if I spend a bunch of bucks on League Pass just to see the Rockets and they fail to broadcast 5 games, I am getting good value/fair treatment?!?!? BS!! NBA TV should not be considered NATIONAL TV since very few people have Satellite TV relative to cable.
I called Time Warner and they directed me to the league pass web site. I just wrote a long pissed off email to league pass, and I suggest you do the same. This BS needs to change.....and quick( like by tomorrow)
Rockets game on NBALP tomorrow? I don't see it listed, will it be on, kind of like the situation with the mavs/Rocks game a couple weeks ago?
go look at the schedule: http://www.nba.com/rockets/schedule/ All games listed with "NBATV" are not going to be on League Pass.
Htown, Every game they say well be televised on NBA TV hasn't been from my past experiences they have instead an advertisment for NBA League pass.
Never mind I have Time Warner league pass and it looks like this game is on NBA TV. WHAT A FRICKEN RIP OFF !!! Schedule of NBA TV This sucks. DD
ThrillaNManilla, NBA TV is not part of League Pass, you only get it on DirectTV/Dish, not digital cable. NBA TV is NOT that first channel of League Pass.
you know, around where i live in NC, the cheapest DirecTV package is less then regular cable is, then you purchase NBALP and never have a problem with "not being able to watch the Rockets game cause they're on NBA TV" since NBA TV comes with the NBALP package on DirecTV...
