The way Yao looked against the Clippers after a few days of rest, I'm looking forward to the next game.

(Yes, I saw the data earlier this season on how he performs on 0, 1 and 2 or more days rest).

All I know is he looked great in the last game, even if it was just the Clippers. He looked a step quicker than usual.

Sounds like you'd like the Jazz's schedule of 2 sets of 5 games in 7 days.

I hate the dry spell, but I'll take it. Rest is a good thing.

Yearning for Rockets basketball but this idle period has many benefits as well: more rest for the players during a crucial point in the season, other teams battling it out and playing games and possibly losing games while the Rockets are idle, and more time to catch up on school/work/etc in our personal lives :D

agreed 100%. the players really appreciate it, especially yao and deke who are both prone to fatigue due to age. :p

Exactly, especially when you have as tough schedule as we have. It's like we play Suns and than we play Lakers, so actually it is GREAT to rest and prepare ourselves for the next tough game.

Feign called it a small training camp. We shouldn't complain at all.

exactly. our players need to keep their bodies hot and their nerves high for another 2 months or even more, till we realize our dream of making the second round.

This is a GREAT time for rest and practice. A difficult stretch coming up. We will work on some things, go to war with them, and then make our final tweaks in the short break before the playoffs.

    I like it.

agree -- he had a certain bounce in his step. the same kind of bounce that almost every other player has on a regular basis
