No parking on washington on all star weekend

    No parking allowed on Washington Avenue between Houston Avenue and Shepherd from February 15 to February 17.

    To me this hints at racism, but I guess we'd have to have another super bowl here to see if the same policy would apply at that time.

    Pretty standard practice in a lot of cities for big events. No racism at all, gives people room to walk around.

    So from Club Ei8ht all the way down past Kung Fu to TC Jester will be one lane then, they'll all park there. I'll be walking to see Nas perform there though even though I cannot stand that douche bar.

    I cab it almost everywhere if I'm going to have a drink or two. Even one drink and the cops on Washington will throw you in the car. I've heard them talking about their "quotas" out loud in the Subway off Shepherd and Washington, like it was a joke between them all. $13 to downtown/West Ave is better than a night in jail and attorney fees.
