This is the NBA playoffs & we are playing a damn good team. I don't know why a lot of fans around town and in the BBS are acting like this was gona be a walk in the park.

The Jazz didn't win 50+ games as well as their division for nothing. They have a lot of talent and a deep bench.

So before going around saying Yao is soft or T-Mac is a loser why don’t you guys/gals sit back and think for a second at what your saying. Maybe you'll realize that there’s still one full game to be played and every win in this series has gone to the home team. The last time I checked game 7 is going to be at the Toyota Center.

Now take a deep breath and wait tell Saturday night because its going to be one hell of a game!

I could not agree with you more, wasn't there a reason why we wanted home-court advantage. It only comes in play for Game 7, and the Rockets knew it was going to take 7 games to beat these guys. Now we have to win Game 7 at home.

    LET"S GO ROCKETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They did too. They said it was going to be easy after game 1, game 2, and game 5.

Of course, after game 3 and 4 they said we were doomed and wouldnt win another game.

Your post is too logical for the BBS. You're about to get killed.

I think most fans are focusing on how badly we are playing. In the games the Jazz played poorly, we either won by a small margin or played even worse. In the games the Jazz played well, we got blown out.

Yao and Tmac are just taking it easy that's why. Sloppy performance that led to easy turn-overs, can't handle intensity, t-mac saying they can't take me out of the zone... come on... are you blind????

This team is capable of playing like the warriors-style, more energy type of game, but what we saw in this playoffs are they're just settling with our 3pt shots. We only win because we're LUCKY making those shots.

I hope we see a diffrent game at least tomorrow.

You're talking about redefined right? ;)

I agree, and I think homecourt will serve us well...I truly believe we'll win...And yes, T-mac and Yao both have to play lights out on both ends of the court, with help from the bench...Just stop being franchise on the TO's and defense...

    BAN HIM! ;)

The original poster is right though. It wasn't going to be easy. I just wish the Rox would've capitalized when they had the chance.

Um, did you watch the Warriors series? The only reason they won is BECAUSE they hit their threes. Jackson had like 4 in a quarter.

    well spoken shawn.

Somehow, everyone expects us to go undefeated on the way to the championship.

Utah is a great team - 50 plus wins despite injuries and one of the best coaches in the league. However, we are still the better team and we will prove it tomorrow night.

they won because they introduced to the mavs a unusual very fast pace of basketball game, more energy and mavs are not accustumed to that style. That's the reason why the Warriors are very succesfull against the Mavs, winning 7 out of 10 games this season. You can never beat Dallas by just making shots because they can shoot better.

During the last couple of weeks, according to some people, this team has changed from great to horrible many times... the truth is, the Rockets are who we always knew they were, they had the same strength and same weaknesses and are the same people every single game. Tracy, Yao, Juwan, Rafer. etc are who they are, especially after so many years in the league.

It's just your typical 4th-5th seed matchup when different things happen each game. Neither the Rockets nor the Jazz really changed their stripes at all during the playoffs... it's just human beings having some good shooting/energy games and some bad ones.

But... according to some people, winning 2 games means we should be looking forward to the Warriors... losing a couple means we should be thinking about free agents. Win one, it's rooting for the Warriors again... lose one more... then it's time to trade Yao, Shane and McGrady and fire Van Gundy... and replace them with... who? Matt Barnes and Lamar Odom?

seriously the only thing different i see is the 3pts not going in. now also its not like the rockets are taking all their 3pt shots with a hand in their face, they are getting some great looks but outside of game 5 have not hit on a percentage that is even on par with their reg season percentage. this against a team that is notorious in leaving 3pt shooters open over the years.

granted that tmac and yao need to create more, namely tmac since he is more perimeter oriented but if luther and shane can both get or get near double figures in points while everyone else remains constants we have a good if not great shot of winning game 7.

energy and intensity on the defensive end will be key though, no more back cuts and illegal picks by the jazz for layups man!
