    The Rockets had the first game of the year and Kenny Thomas had the first basket (a 3). That means he had the first 3 points of the official new millenium.

    Congratulations to Kenny Thomas! He will be entered in the record books for the first NBA player to make a shot of the 21st century. What an important feat! It is good to see a Houston Rocket player about to enter the record books. Continue the good work Kenny Thomas.

    Can you please explain why you felt the need to make this accusation? It seems to me that it was a light-hearted anecdote to pass along.
