I didn't have chance to watch the game, but from boxscore, Cato had 12 reb and 2 blk, that's not bad. Can somebody tell me how he was during the game? Thanks.

I'm not surprised by the way Cato plays anymore. He is being consistent and playing very well. Challenging shots and rebounding. Dampier was scoring all over the Rockets inside when Cato was on the bench for a breather. When he came in he contained him. All and all I'm loving the way he is playing.

Cato was solid. He rebounded and defended well. He actually posted up and scored, too. I think two times.

He was doing a good job on defense and was even getting involved offensively, cutting and all!

We were getting destroyed with Cato on the bench. A turnaround of 15 points. It seems our best 5(as a 'team') at the moment are Steve, Mobley, Rice,Thomas,Cato.

For the most part when we put Yao in we are also destroyed. He is hugely vulnerable to high floater shots and quick moves to the basket. But with game time minutes and good practices those things will improve a lot. Mr. Mean will get him into shape, thats for sure.

But BIG props to Cato. He is playing the best basketball of his career.

I don't know if anyone mentioned Kenny Thomas' passing tonight either. The man had six assists tonight. Not bad for a guy who has been considered a black hole at one point.

I was expecting Yao to come in against Dampier with Cato on the bench. Dampier was getting to many good looks, and scoring. Not to mention blocking about 6 shots. It wasn't pretty until Cato came back in.

Having 6 assists in a game does not mean a player is not a ball hog. It's only one game. Remember, Cat's career high in assists is 11.;)

I would like to be the first to correct you. The best five at the moment are Steve, Cat, KT, Eddie and Cato. Rice has contributed nothing either this year or last as a Rocket. KT looked damn good as a small forward last night. BTW, Rice I believe Rice received most of his minutes last night while Eddie was playing at the 5 and Houston was playing small ball.

This is what everyone expected from Cato when he first got here. Glad he is starting to come around.

Defencively Cato looks like he's trying to become another Dream!! There were the poke aways, knocking down inlet passes, lean back off & lean again, front slide behind and of course the blocks. What I tried to describe in that last sentence was the WAR that was going on between Cato & Dampier.

One other thing that I don't think has been mentioned, Cato didn't pick up his 1st foul until the 4th quarter!! He's trying to become our enforcer & playing smart at the same time!!
